The Upstate Falcons are excited to offer Girls Middle School Softball for the Spring 2027 Season. We are building a strong foundation for this sport and team. Join the Upstate Falcons for an elevated baseball experience and incredible community. We are excited to get started.

HIGH SCHOOL

We are not currently planning on having a high school softball team for the Spring 2027 season. We would be looking for coaches as we start planning for a Varsity team. If you are interested in being a part of the coaching or support staff, please email us at central@upstatefalcons.com

MIDDLE SCHOOL TRYOUT INFORMATION

Practices - Mon, Tue and Thu (when there are no games). Practice location is at Springfield Park Mauldin, SC. It is possible we will practice at other locations, but we will keep it as centrally located as possible.

Practices start Monday Feb 8th

We are planning practice times to be between 4:00-6:30p

Games - Likely beginning of March to the end of April. Visibility to the games will be available in the TeamSnap app. For home games, unless we can secure the same field each time, we will rely on the availability of the fields to schedule games.

Tryout DATE: November 14th

TIME: 12:00 - 3:00PM

Location: Springfield Park, Field #1 - Mauldin, SC

Registration for the 2026 Season 

  • 14u (typically 6-8th grade

  • Season Registration fee (online) = $400 - must be registered by January 14th

  • Uniform Shirt and Visor provided

Player provided Equipment  

  • Glove

  • Cleats

  • Batting Helmet with face guard

  • Fielder’s face mask

  • Softball Pants - a link will be provided for matching pants

  • Bat (stamped USA softball)

Registration Costs cover - Administrative expense, insurance, field rental, umpires, and other equipment not provided by the players.

While no one loves fundraising, this is a critical aspect of our program and a way we can connect with our community. We want to keep it as simple and as fun as possible. If you have any ideas for raising funds, please let us know.  We plan to do some simple team fundraising to help with additional expenses.

We are a volunteer run organization and we need everyone to be willing to “pitch” in. We will need a team mom and other support for game staff as we ensure the season runs smoothly. Specific roles will be posted after registration is complete.
